Tempers flare over official report on foreign interference in elections (2019/12/04)
Government officials headed to the Legislative Yuan Wednesday to deliver a report on foreign interference in Taiwan's elections. KMT lawmaker Huang Chao-shun attracted media attention when she called the report deceptive and proceeded to rip it into shreds.
Officials were caught off guard Wednesday when KMT Legislator Huang tore up their report on foreign interference in Taiwan’s election. She said the report did not truthfully reflect reality. Then she directed her fire at the KMT member leading the committee.
Pan-blue lawmakers took issue with Deputy Foreign Minister Hsu Szu-chien, who appeared in an Australian media program where Wang Liqiang professed to be a Chinese spy. The deputy minister denied that his participation in the interview was a tacit endorsement of Wang’s story.

Can you guarantee that the investigation will be complete before the elections? Would you consider obtaining his extradition and granting him political asylum?
Deputy Justice Minister Chen Ming-tang replied that extraditions were difficult to achieve. He said the ministry would do its utmost to investigate Wang’s case.

部會報告中國介選 黃昭順撕報告書.嗆退回
近期共諜案、境外介入大選訊息頻傳，內政部、陸委會等多個部門，到立院報告防制作為。不過報告內容，讓國民黨立委們相當不以為然，黃昭順當場撕毀報告書。
不滿內政部、陸委會等單位，報告境外勢力介選的內容，國民黨立委黃昭順，怒撕業務報告，要求退回報告，連自家同仁，也遭殃。
藍營立委質疑，澳洲媒體Nine傳媒的王立強共諜案報導中，出現外交部次長徐斯儉的訪問，是一種隱晦的背書，徐否認這樣的說法。

“你能夠保證，在選舉以前可以調查完成嗎，你們要不要考慮把他引渡回來，我們給他政治庇護？”
對於立委的詢問，法務部次長陳明堂表示，引渡有難度，但會努力調查。
