No new COVID cases on Friday (2020/05/22)

No new COVID-19 cases were reported on Friday, keeping the total at 441. It's now been 40 days since Taiwan had its last case of local transmission. Since the outbreak began, seven COVID patients have died and 408 have made full recoveries. Only 26 remain in hospital care, and none of them require the support of a ventilator.

In at least four cases so far, a recovered patient became "reinfected"after leaving the hospital. Chang Shan-chwen of the Central Epidemic Command Center told reporters that all four patients had very small viral loads and posed practically no risk to others.
